TRAFFICMANAGEMENTPLAN
Theprojectplot is locatedalong30mwide SGBarveRoad.ThetrafficanalysisshowsthatthecurrentLOSisB
Tohandle thetrafficduringtheoperationphase,wehavemade2dedicatedentry(on30mwideRoad)andoneexit(on12mwideroad)with 9mwide drive way. These dedicated entry exits willprevent the hold up at the entry and exit gates thereby nothamperingthetrafficonthemain30mwideroad.
Traffic signages are provided to assist themotorists and visitorsabout the parking. Display boards indicating the parkingavailabilitywillbeplaced/displayedattheentrance
Speedhumps/SpeedBreakerswillbeprovided for trafficcalmingandrestrictingtheinternalvehicularspeedto10km/hr.
Trafficwardenswillbeassignedtoregulatethetrafficflowwithinthebuilding
ConvexmirrorswillbeprovidedatblindcornerstoavoidaccidentsToensureproperandunhindered firetendermovementwehaveprovided9mdriveways.Therearetworoadsabuttingtheplot,12mroadtothenorthand30mroadtotheeast;thisisalsobeneficialfortheFiretendermovement.

The DG set operationwill contribute towards the air pollution. These DG setshavebeenprovidedtotakecareofpoweravailabilityduringpowerfailurefromMSEDCL. However in the project area 24 hrs electricity is supplied, but on aprecautionary basis the above DG sets have been proposed in case of anyemergenciesarisingoutof routinepower failure.The impactof theDGsetsonthe environment has also been studied using mathematical model forascertainingthegaseouspollutantimpact.
Theresultsof themathematicalmodel indicate that themaximum incrementalincrease intheSO2concentration is0.62ug/m3.The isoplethsofpredictedSO2concentrationsisgiveninfigureabove.Thisisconfinedtoasmallareaof300minandaroundtheprojectsite.Thepredictedconcentrationsfromthemodelwillnot lead to alter the baseline concentrations as it is well within the normsstipulatedandalsoastheDGswillbeusedonlyduringemergency.
