The new Quartz Electric’s simple and compact design offers effective efficient showering.

The unique over temperature protection system protects the user from selecting dangerously high temperatures making it ideal for use by all the family. In summer the active nozzles expand fully to give a luxurious spray pattern and the highest flow rate over competing products.

Quartz Electric is available with three performance ratings – 8.5kW, 9.5kW and for extra power 10.5kW.

Put off installing a new shower or bath fill because of the disruption and work involved? Don’t be. Aqualisa’s award-winning Digital technology makes it easy.

So how does it work? Central to every Aqualisa shower or bath fill is a sophisticated processor – the digital product’s nerve centre. Unlike a conventional shower valve, the processor can be situated up to 10 metres away from the showering area. A slim data cable connects the processor to the shower or bath control.

This unique configuration has many advantages – the digital control can be positioned wherever is convenient and because there is no need to conceal pipework or a valve, installation can be completed in as little as two hours, with minimal damage to décor, tiling and walls. Hot and cold water flows into the processor and is mixed with perfect precision. Every processor has a factory pre-set maximum temperature of 45ºC* – making it safe for everyone. You can also set the processor box to ‘Eco Mode’ to conserve water usage without compromising performance. Once blended, the water then leaves the processor and travels to the shower head or bath filler. What could be simpler?

Especially designed with the nuances of the British plumbing system in mind, our thermostatic technology is a tried and trusted favourite with busy households everywhere. No more irregular temperatures, no need to worry about a tap – or even another shower – being used elsewhere, just reliable, straightforward showers every time.

UnderstandingThermo showers

The secret of Aqualisa’s Thermo range showering technology is an ingenious bi-metallic coil. Made from two different types of stainless steel, the coil reacts almost immediately to changes in water temperature. So, as hot and cold water flows into the Thermo shower, the bi-metallic coil is constantly adjusting and re-adjusting its expansion to ensure your shower delivers nothing less or more than your perfect temperature.

Even better, the coil resists the build-up of limescale and as a result, enables more water to flow through the shower head.

Suitable for the majority of UK domestic plumbing systems – including gravity-fed, combination boiler and mains fed – Thermo showers are as hardworking and durable today as when they were introduced by Aqualisa. Of course, we’ve refined them a little along the way – but essentially, it’s the same groundbreaking technology that caused a splash over thirty years ago. And why change such proven performance?

Shower pumpsMach®

The powerful Mach range of pumps are made exclusively for Aqualisa by Stuart Turner and have been designed to provide just the right amount of oomph to your shower, no matter what your requirements are.

Maintenance free and guaranteed to enhance the flow of your shower, Mach pumps are fully WRAS and CE approved. Regeneratively, rather than centrifugally operative, they’re also much more efficient and less likely to struggle with annoying air locks.

Do you need a pump?Used with gravity fed water heating systems, the right pump can make an enormous difference to your showering experience and will allow you to add extras such as body jets.

If you’ve selected one of Aqualisa’s Thermo showers and your existing shower barely manages a drizzle, you’ll probably need a pump. Refer to the simple flow chart on page 43 to check which Thermo showers you can use witha pump.

Don’t forget!It’s essential that you choose the right pump. Not just for you, your family and your new shower – but for yourplumbing system, too. A pump will increase the volume of water your shower can deliver per minute and it’s important to check your water tank will have enough storage capacity to cope. Vital during the morning rush hour when everyone wants a hot shower.

Don’t overlook where all that extra water will go to either. You’ll need to ensure your shower tray’s waste is sufficiently capable of quickly and effectively draining water away.

Mach 120 pump

This pump will give your shower a moderate boost and is suitable for use with Varispray or Turbostream shower heads.

Mach 250 pump

This pump will give your shower a medium boost and is suitable for use with two shower heads or a single shower head andtwo body jets.

Mach 340 pump

This pump will give your shower a high boost and is suitable for use with two shower heads and two body jets or a single shower head and four body jets.

Adjustable height headDepending upon your choice of shower, you can select either a fixed or an adjustable height shower head.Opt for a fixed design for a neat, unobtrusive shower that makes the most of available showering space or, for complete showering versatility, choose a family-friendly adjustable height design – great for both you and the kids.

If you’ve chosen an Axis shower, there’s also the choice of ceiling fixed, wall fixed and ceiling flush fixed shower heads – ideal for wet rooms or smaller showering areas.

Sprays to suit your moodAqualisa’s stylish Varispray shower head offers multiple spray patterns, so whether it’s an early morning wake-up call or a relaxing after work wind-down, you’ll be sure tofind one to suit.
