From new ideas to established practices examples
The Mechanism Example What is still needed
Integrating eco-efficiency in policy guidelines
New regulations for energy efficiency were integrateding in land use policy in November 2011
Implementation follow-up
Capacity development through pilots
Vuores area as a platform for eco-efficiency, i.e. Energy system analysis as a part of planning process
Resources and education for planners, nominating a responsible person for energy aspects
New regulations
Developing easy-to-use tools and checklists
Eco-efficiency tool for
urban planning
A decision that the tool will be used in all urban planning processes
Developing new practices and ownership of energy efficiency through projects (choosing the right owner for the project)
Tapre-project, funded partly by ECO2, coordinated by Tampere Real Estate services
