MEMBERSHIP MANIA
“The Hallmark of an Organisation is its Membership”
The DAC team had enthusiastically pledged to increase
the membership of various clubs in the district. The
first milestone in this journey was a membership drive
undertaken in the Delhi University colleges.

Singhal, President of Rotaract Club of Delhi University.
The event included spreading awareness about

organisation. Posters were put up in five different

This endeavour is only one little step and we hope to
continue with our efforts all over the district. Your

From The DRR’s Desk
Hi Friends,
I must acknowledge you all for the kind of work being done by all
you Rotaractros in last two months. I also would like to acknowldge
clubs who been sending reports regularly. Club reports and
District Newsletter inspires everyone to do the same good work in
their local community.
As our district theme says - Learning Through Fellowship. We all
are here to learn and create a difference in the socitey. Let's expand
ourselves and create projects which involves other clubs also .
Lets look and find one particular issue in the socitey and join our
hands together and work to irradicate it from the roots to have a long
term impact on the socitey. If you are associated with some
NGO's, you may introduce them to your fellow freinds from other
clubs and have joint projects with them.
I also would like to urge to you all to send in your confirmations for
the Multi district event - ROTASIA happening in Goa in January. It
is a great platform to learn about the rotaractors from all over asia
and express yourself and your skills to them. We also have RYLA
in December in Sonepat. Kindly send in your suggestions on
activities you would like to have in RLYA. We are spending so
much time, effort and money in Rotaract , we must demand what we
want from it and work towards achieving it. There is saying that - "
if you need to go to heaven , YOU need to die. You cannot have
someone else to die, for you to experiece heaven".
Best Of Luck!!
Cheers!!

From what we get we make a Living ; from what we give we make a life .
Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary. Through the Rotaract program, young adults not only augment their knowledge and skills, but they also address the physical and social needs of their communities while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.
Membership starts with you! Invite friends, family and co-workers to become members of Rotaract
