witness drug deals everyday. Random drug testing would scare students from using drugs. Peer pressure would not be as effective.

Reason #2- If a police car is protecting a house, a thief will think twice about stealing from it. Random drug testing works the same way to deter drug use.

Reason #3- Drug testing is done in the workforce and school is meant to prepare people for the workforce.
