IntroductionColleges get paid a monumental amount of money a year.The revenue ticket income for the average division I schools are over 30 million a year.March Madness alone makes over 11 billion a year for only three weekends of basketball.College players face the risk of injuries that could jeopardies there future.

• Many college athletes battle poverty and tough situations while having to pay more than they can afford for school.

• The movie “The Blind Side” was based on Michael Oher’s rough life experiences before he became a professional football player for the Baltimore Ravens.

Conclusion• College athletes deserve to get paid for their hard work

they put in throughout the year. • Most college athletes come from homes with no money

and are expected to get good grades while playing a sport then paying back school debts.

• There a lot of money put into college sports and the players that risk it all get nothing for themselves in return.
