Establishing shot

This shot is normally at the start of the film to show were the film will be set.

Wide shot

This shot is done to show all of the setting and to get everything in.

Medium shot

This is a shot from the waist up, because you don’t need to see anything below the waist.

Close up

Where you have a close up on a person or an object. To make it more emotional.

Medium close up

Extreme close up

When the camera zooms right into something eg eye

Point of view

When the camera is from there point of view so you can see what

there looking

Over shoulder shot

Make you feel your in the room with them.

Two shot / shot reverse shot

Normally when 2 people are talking but you only see 1 person at a time.

Low angle shot

Looking up at them, normally because they are important.

High angle shot

Normally when the character is weak.
