TA-NA-E-KA
1. Why is the setting important to Mary’s choice of direction at the beginning of her Ta-Na-E-Ka?
Answer- The setting is important to Mary’s choice of direction at the beginning of her Ta-Na-E-Ka. Being close to the river gave her the idea to try and stay in a boat. Although she made it to the marina, there weren’t any docked boats. This led Mary to stay at Ernie’s Riverside restaurant for her Ta-Na-E-Ka. If the setting was any where else, Mary would not have met Ernie and had her experience.
