In this Shopping Guide you will discover some of the finest stores in London offering an unsurpassed mix of the latest fashion, jewellery and accessories. All of the stores featured in this booklet participate in the Premier Tax Free Shopping Scheme.

When you are in this country you will pay a sales tax (VAT) of 20% (16.67% of the total purchase price) on most goods you buy, which is already included in the sales price. As a non EU resident you are entitled to reclaim this VAT on items purchased here and taken home with you.

Page 5: Shopping Guide - London

HOW TO GET YOUR REFUND

Claiming back your VAT on your journey home has never been easier. When you see the PTF tax free logo, request the VAT form for your shopping and follow the tips below to save money by getting your VAT back quickly and easily.

You have up to 3 months from the date you purchase the goods to leave the EU and retrieve your refund.Contact - [email protected]

Ask for your Premier Tax Free Shopping Form in every store along with your receipts - the sales assistant will help you complete this.

Make sure you complete your VAT refund form fully, including your name, full address, passport number and your arrival and departure date.

FEEL AT HOME IN LONDON

PAY IN YOUR OWN CURRENCY

Just because you are shopping in London doesn’t mean that you have to pay in Pound Sterling.

The Premier Tax Free DCC (Dynamic Currency Conversion) service means that you can pay in your own currency when paying by credit card. It will convert the purchase into your home billing currency at point of sale.

The currency is converted at the rate of exchange on the date of purchase. You can shop with the confidence of knowing exactly how much the goods cost in your billing currency. The amount you’re charged at the store will be the exact amount that appears on your credit card statement.

Ask in store for more information.

For more information on DCC machines and using them in your store, advertising in or stocking this guide, please contact the Premier Tax Free team on 0845 129 8993.

MAKING TAX FREE SHOPPING WORK FOR YOU
