On Thursday, October 6, we will gather for a day of fun, fellowship and shooting sports competition. Last year's event was tremendous, and we have surpassed $2 million raised since the tournament's inception.

Our beneficiary, the Boy Scouts of America's Great Lakes Field Service Council, serves over 25,000 young men and women annually in Southeast Michigan, with almost 10,000 dedicated adult volunteers.

The “Shooting Stars” Sporting Clays Invitational is a 100-clay tournament. It’s one of the largest one-day charity shoots in the country.

Ford Motor Company has stepped up again, providing their leadership toward our primary goal of supporting Scouting in Southeast Michigan!

All the shells needed for sporting clays, trap, skeet and 5-stand are provided. There will be shooter awards based on a Lewis Class breakdown, as well as a variety of other recognitions, including “Hot Shot” and “Star of the Day.” The event includes breakfast, lunch and reception.

Following the day’s competition our reception features an open bar and hors d’oeuvres. The reception will conclude with the awards presentation and the raffle.
