GENERAL INFORMATION SPONSORED BY: DATE: Saturday, July 22, 2017 TIMES: Standard Pistol Squadding: 8 a.m. Shooting Begins: 8:30 a.m. Center Fire Pistol Squadding: 10:30 a.m. Shooting Begins: 11 a.m. Olympic Rapid Fire Squadding: Noon Shooting Begins: 1 p.m. SITE: Weeping Water Gun Club (1 1/2 miles southeast of Weeping Water). Detailed map at www.weepingwatergunclub.com. EQUIPMENT: Any safe .22 caliber pistol. Experts need legal UIT pistols. Firearms must fit in "the box". All firearms wlll be inspected. .32 caliber, .38 caliber or 9 mm caliber pistols or revolvers used for Center Fire competition. Juniors and women may use .22 caliber during Center Fire event. No magnum loads. Eye and ear protection required. Open sights only. No scopes or red dot sights. SANCTION: Competition is sanctioned by the National Rifle Association of America as a special tournament. NRA membership is not required. RULES: Current UIT rules will apply. Only safe gun handling is accepted. Chief Range Officer’s decisions are final. Any unsafe behavior by shooters or spectators will not be tolerated. Safe, young shooters are welcome but must be supervised. AWARDS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each event. America or 2016 Cornhusker State Games must shoot as an Expert.

Junior: Juniors are shooters 18 years or younger as of July 22, 2017.

4 strings-5 shots--150 seconds at 25 meters (B-17 target)

4 strings-5 shots--20 seconds at 25 meters (B-17 target)

4 strings-5 shots--10 seconds at 25 meters (B-17 target)

A maximum of 50 shooters per Standard Pistol division. Events will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Center Fire Pistol:

Precision--5 sighters then 6 strings-5 shots-6 minutes at 25 meters (B-17 target)

Duel--5 sighters then 6 strings-5 shots at 25 meters (B-39 target)

A maximum of 50 shooters per Center Fire Pistol division. Events will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Olympic Rapid Fire Pistol:

4 strings-5 shots--8 seconds at 25 meters (B-39 target)

4 strings-5 shots--6 seconds at 25 meters (B-39 target)

SportFest is the pre-Opening Ceremonies party for Athletes and their families and includes a free meal for anyone with

a Super Pass. Meal is provided by Arby’s, Pepsi, Frito-Lay and Hiland Dairy.

Opening Ceremonies | 8 p.m. | Seacrest Field

Program includes: Parade of Athletes, Skydivers (Lincoln Sport Parachute Club), Introductions, Presentation of Colors

(Nebraska National Guard), National Anthem, Oath of Athletes, Mascot Showcase/Shirt Cannons, Featured

Entertainment, Torch Lighting Ceremony (Mystery Torchlighter), Fireworks, Photos/Autographs and more.

FINAL REGISTRATION DEADLINE – JULY 21:

The final registration deadline for Shooting – Pistol is July 21. This sport will accept late registrations with an additional $5 late fee.
