Students Minimum: 3 months (90 days excluding travel) Maximum: 6 months (180 days excluding travel) 1 month is always equal to 30 complete days Academic staff Minimum: 5 days of mobility (excluding travel) Maximum: 21 days of mobility (excluding travel) When can you realize the mobility? During the Spring semester 2016/2017. Mobility must start next February 2017and it must be strictly completed by July 31st, 2017. After this date no mobility can be financed! You are a student, can you start a mobility on June 01, 2017? No, you can’t! Why? Because you would not be able to meet the minimum duration, 3 months! You are a student, can you start a mobility on March 01, 2017 and get the maximum duration funded, 6 months? If the School calendar allows it, yes, you can start a mobility on March 01, 2017 but you cannot be awarded the maximum duration (6 months). You will be awarded a scholarship of 5 months only: March 2017, April 2017, May 2017, June 2017 and July 2017. When shall you start if you wish to receive the maximum duration, 6 months? No later than February 01, 2017. Where and when can I apply for this scholarship? The Call for Application is managed by the Ain Shams University.The person in charge at ASU is Prof Dr Mohamed Hazem Abdellatif, [email protected] If you are an Academic Staff, in order to be admitted at the University of Bologna under this scholarship scheme you need to be in contact with a prospective Host supervisor who is a professor/researcher of the University of Bologna. In order to demonstrate this contact you must submit at the moment of being nominated a “support letter or support e-mail” issued by this professor/researcher. For students: what can you do during the mobility? And how can you identify the subjects we offer and you wish to attend during the exchange? First of all, the Erasmus+ ICM scholarship funds exchange for study purposes only. So, it does not fund internships, complete degrees or any other activity than study. “Study” means attending classes, seating final examinations and receive the corresponding credits. The following restrictions are applicable:

some of the English taught programmes have restricted enrolment, exchange ispossible only after the School has approved the mobility plan of the nominee; it is not possible to verify this at the moment of the application. We will verify it ONLY if and when the student has been actually selected for the mobility;

programmes offered at the School of Medicine are not open to the exchange; Dentistry is not open to exchange; Physiotherapy is not open to exchange; the School of Economics, Management and Statistics admits at master level onlygraduate students:

undergraduates cannot attend as exchange student master coursesoffered by this School; professional masters, summer or winter schools are not open to exchange.

Undergraduate and Master programmes are offered by our 11 Schools, here you can find the list: http://www.unibo.it/en/university/campuses-and-structures/schools The list of our Undergraduate programmes offered under the 11 Schools is available here: http://www.unibo.it/en/teaching/degree-programmes Undergraduate programmes are the ones labeled with [L]. When you see as a label alsoa UK flag it means that the programme or one of its curricula are delivered in English. For each programme the language of instruction is always specified and the “Link to course diagram structure” is provided, at this Link you will find the list of subjects offered under a specific degree programme and clicking on the name of the subject you will be directed to the subject description.

As an exchange student and if the Schools allow it (the School of Economics, Management and Statistics does not allow this!) you can also access Master programmes subjects. Master programmes are the ones labeled with [LM]. When you see the label [LMCU] it means this is a long cycle programme. Undergraduate students can access these programmes. For Academic Staff: how to get in contact with the professors of the University of Bologna? The main activity of the Academic Staff mobility is teaching. Teaching can be performed either at Undergraduate, Master or Doctoral level but also in the framework of short programmes (winter/summer schools, specific workshops, etc.). Teaching activities at Undergraduate and Master level are performed at our 11 Schools, here you can find the list: http://www.unibo.it/en/university/campuses-and-structures/schools The list of our Undergraduate and Master programmes offered under the 11 Schools is available here: http://www.unibo.it/en/teaching/degree-programmes For each course the “Link to course diagram structure” is provided, at this Link you will find the list of subjects offered under a specific degree programme and clicking on the name of the subject you will be directed to the subject description where the name of the professor teaching the subject is provided. Clinking on the name of the professor you will arrive on her/his personal webpage where you can find her/his CV, teaching activities, research interests and contact details. PhD programmes are instead offered at our 33 Departments:http://www.unibo.it/en/university/campuses-and-structures/departments Professor can of course be contacted also on the basis of their research expertise and then verify with them which kind of teaching activities can be organized under a prospective mobility.
