For your information, Hal Richardson called me on september 6, 1996,

to inform me he has decided to discontinue visitation with Rikki until

after the court trial. He said visitation has become so emotionally

difficult for him and Rikki that he has decided until something is

set by the court, he will "not participate in Claudine's games."

He said he is now met by a full force of police officers in Salina

and followed out of town, because of false information provided by

Claudine to the police department, He said Labor Day weekend he wasunable to make the appointment in Salina due to problems at work and

he called and left a message Saturday, August 31, with the police

department in Sali~a. He indicated he would not be there on time.

He said Claudine called him at 2 a.m. and again at 4 a.m. Sunday

morning and put the baby on the telephone babbling and crying into

the receiver. He said he can no longer play these games because he

    will have "a nervous breakdown."

I called Claudine on Friday, September 6, 1996, and left a message on

her recorder regarding visitation for that weekend as well as future

    weekends.

I also received a return call last week from Dr. Richard Maxfield, the psychologist who is ordered to complete the parenting evaluation

of both adults. He indicated he still had some individual testing

to complete as well as he wanted to be able to see the parents jointly

a few times. He indicated he needed at least one additional month

to complete the evaluation. I s ee from the computer that the case is

set for status docket on October 2, 1996, at 9 a.m. I would suggest

canceling the status docket and schedule for pretrial or trial

sometime in late October. I believe all reports should be received

within a month to six weeks.
