Christmas Tree

We are sure you have all seen and admired

Playtime Shepperton’s beautiful Christmas

Tree in the foyer.

This year’s tree was donated to us by

more decorations take a trip to Longacres

Flowerpot snowmen are super easy to make!

All you need is:

1 x Small Flowerpot

1 x Small Glove (Stripy, spotty, patterned)

Ribbon

Paint (White, Black, Orange & Pink)

And then follow these 3 steps:

First: Paint your flower pot white, set it aside to dry

Second: Paint your snowman’s face, use black for the eyes and mouth,

orange for the nose and pink for his cheeks. Leave it aside to dry.

Third: Add your glove to the top, this creates his hat, tie some ribbon

around it to make a ‘bobble’. Take another piece of ribbon and tie it around

the base of your flowerpot, this is your snowman’s scarf.

Now you can put your finished snowman on your doorstep, windowsill or

anywhere else you’d like to display him. Why not make some more

snowmen with different size flowerpots and create a ‘Snow Family’!

Candy Cane

Reindeer

At Christmas you might see some peoples Christmas Trees have Candy Cane’s

hanging from the branches. Well, why not make some special Reindeer Candy

Cane’s for your tree, not only are the different but they are little works of art

made by you!

You will need:

2 x Candy Canes

1 x Red Pom Pom

2 x Googly Eyes

Brown Wool (or ribbon)

Double Sided Tape

First: Take your Candy Canes and hold them back to back (so the long edges

are together)

Second: Wrap you wool or ribbon around both Candy Canes just under the

‘hook’, this is creating you reindeer so you can make him/her as big or small as

you like. Once done, secure the wool/ribbon with a little piece of tape.

Third: Stick your googly eyes and pom pom nose to your reindeer.

Now go and hang them on your tree for everyone to see, or give them to your

friends as presents!
