Important Information

Please read the manual carefully before operating the product.

Warning

Tubing may crack due to wear. This results in the overflow of fluid from

tubing which can lead to injuries and damage on the instruments.

Therefore, the user must check the tubing regularly and change

tubing in time.

Connect the power line directly to the wall socket, and avoid using

extension cords.

If power cable or plug have traces of wear and other damages, please

unplug it, pulling the plug and not the line.

If following situations happened, please turn the power off and unplug

the device, pulling the plug and not the line.

1. Fluid splash on the pump.

2. You think the pump needs to be maintained or amended.

The user’s power socket must have ground wire with reliable grounding.

LabF Series Product Introduction:

LabF series peristaltic pump updates to be both filling and transferring

functions, is widely used in laboratory and small scale industry such as

dispensing culture medium, diagnostic reagent and cosmetic. 4.3 inch color

touch screen control, dynamic display filling status; it can extend multi group

filling unit, and set the effective of the unit freely; online volume adjustment

function. Wide filling volume range, the minimum filling volume is 0.1ml, can

load different pump head: YZ1515x, YZ2515x, MC series and DZ25-3L.

LabF Series Keyboard Instruction:

Run/Pause Button: After set up the filling parameter, press the start/stop button, the

filling unit will run according to the parameters. Press the start/stop button, to

pause the current operation. After pressing the start/stop button, all other

buttons besides the calibration and monitor button on the main interface will

turn gray and are disabled. If set parameter to be transferring parameter, press

this button, pump run according to preset parameter, meanwhile pause function

isn’t available.

Stop Button: Press stop button to stop the operation.

Full Speed Button: In dispensing mode, press this button at the stop state, the

filling unit will run with fastest speed. This button is for washing tube and

filling liquid rapidly. Under transferring mode, pump can reach fastest speed

by pressing this button with either running state or stop state.

CW/CCW Button: Press this button to change the running direction of the motor.

LabF Series Operation Interface Instruction:

1、Boot Interface: After turning the power on the system will enter the English main interface

automatically after 2.5 seconds.

2、Main Interface: Main interface composition as below:

A. Real-time Display Dispensing Volume: In the system setting, choose the exact mode and display content from the mode setting. Transferring mode: Real-time display of speed and volume, click A and change the transferring speed or volume directly.

Dispensing mode: Displays the dispensing volume or display recent total

dispensing times. Choose start button and real-time display current numerical value. B. Real-time Dynamic Display: Displays the dispensing and transferring state and monitors results.

C. Real-time Dispensing Parameter Display: Dispensing mode: Displays the set

dispensing volume, current dispensing time count-down, interval time count-down

and copy numbers.

Note: For Transferring mode, the dispensing parameter display is disabled.

D. Set Parameter Display: This area displays current working state, pump

head, tubing size and suck-back angle.

E. Date and Time Display: Displays the current date and time, it can be amended in system settings.

F. System Setting Button: Press this button to enter system setting interface,

including the settings of pump head, tube size, suck-back angle and common mode,

as well as mode setting and communication setting.

G. Flow Calibration Button: Press this button to enter calibration interface.

H. Real-time Monitor Button: Press this button to enter the monitor interface.

Here, you can check flow rate, motor speed and dispensing efficiency. I. Dispensing Volume Button: When pressing this button, the numerical keyboard appears where you can input the dispensing volume. The transferring mode is disabled.

J. Time Button: When pressing this button, the numerical keyboard appears

where you can input the filling time. Click confirm. It will ask if you want to

continue to input the pause time. Choose ‘YES’, to input the pause time, choose

‘NO’, to go back to the main interface. The transferring mode is disabled.

K. Copy Numbers Button: When pressing this button, the numerical keyboard

appears where you can input the copy numbers. If input ‘0’, the copy number is

unlimited. The transferring mode is disabled.

3、Flow Calibration Interface:

Flow Calibration Interface as below:

Dispensing mode, before dispensing, calibration process as below:

A) Confirm dispensing volume and time.

B) Click on the Start button to start the test, the display shows the dispensing time

countdown. It will stop automatically and the numerical keyboard will appear where

you can input the actual dispensing volume. After the input o f actual dispensing

volume, you will b e asked whether continue test (suggest 3 times). Choose ‘YES’

to test again; choose ‘NO’, to go back to the calibration interface.

C) After several tests, the actual dispensing volume display area will display the

average volume. Click ‘Calibration’ button to calibrate successfully.

D) If you need higher accuracy, you can use the adjust function. Click ‘Add’ or

‘Dec’ button to micro adjust the dispensing volume and to meet dispensing high

accuracy.

E) Click on the ‘Cancel’ button to cancel the tests. The actual filling volume returns

to 0. Transferring mode: To set t h e transferring volume or speed in the main

interface, change the time in the flow calibration interface to change the dispensing

volume or speed to calibrate.

Online Micro Adjust Dispensing Volume Process:

If the dispensing volume is not correct during working, with this function you

can micro adjust the volume online without affecting the product line.

A) Click on the Calibration button on the main interface, to enter the flow

calibration interface.

B) Now only the ‘Add’, ‘Dec’ and ‘Esc’ button can be used, all other buttons

are disabled.

C) Click on the Add or Dec button to adjust the dispensing volume.

4、Real-time Monitor Interface:

Monitor Interface as below:

Click on the Monitor button on the main interface to enter the monitor interface.

Here you can check current flow rate, motor speed and dispensing efficiency.

1) Click on the System Setting button on the main interface, then click Pump Head &

Tube to enter pump head and tube setting interface.

2) At first, click on Pump Head, then on Tube Size. In the following drop-down menu

choose pump head and tube. The reference flow rate window shows the minimum and

maximum flow rate of the pump head and tube.

6、Mode Setting Interface

Mode Setting Interface as below:

According to the customers’ requirement, the working mode can be changed freely

between transfer mode and dispense mode. In transfer mode, the customer can choose

to display RPM or flow rate. In dispense mode, the customer can choose between

current dispense volume and dispense numbers. The display mode decides on the

content of the main interface A area. It can display the current dispense volume or the

current dispense time. The maximum current dispense numbers is 9999, manual reset.

7. Suck-back Angle Setting Interface:

Suck-back angle setting interface as below:

At first, click on the System Setting button on the main interface, then click on the

Suck-back Angle button to enter the suck-back angle setting interface. With a click

on the Set Suck-back Angle button, the numerical keyboard will appear. Input the

suck-back angle and click ‘Confirm’. The filling unit will work with this angle.

Click on the ‘Cancel’ button to go back to the system setting interface.

8、Common Mode Interface:

Common Mode Interface as below::

Click on the System Setting button on the main interface, then click Common

Mode to choose the common mode interface.

Add Button: Click this button to add one common mode, it can save 60 modes.

Add mode interface as below, click on a button and input the parameters.

Delete Button: Choose one common button and click the Delete button. You will be

asked if you really want to delete. Click ‘YES’, then to delete the selected mode.

Empty Button: If you click this button you will be asked if you want to delete all. Click

‘YES’ to delete all common modes.

Confirm Button: Choose one of the common mode, click ‘Confirm’. The device will

go back to the main interface. The filling parameter is same as the one you chose

from the common mode.

Cancel Button: Click this button to go back to the system setting interface.

Page Up/Down Button: Click this button to check the previous and the next page.

9、Date and Time Setting Interface:

Date and Time Setting Interface as below:

Click System Setting on the main interface, then click on Date and Time to enter

the date and time setting interface.

You can set the current date and time. It is displayed on the top right corner of the

main interface.

If you click Set Date, the numerical keyboard will appear. Here you can input the

Year, setting year range is 1970-2099. After inputting the year, click confirm to

set month and day.

If you click Set Time button, the numerical keyboard will appear. Here you can

input hour, minute and second.

10. Communication Setting Interface

Communication setting interface as below:

In the Communication settings you can choose baud rate and communication interface

RS232/RS485 freely. The default address is “1”, if the communication function is

“ON”, the communication function works. The pump supports standard Modbus

protocol (RTU mode).

External Control Interface Instruction

①Internal isolation 5VDC output

②External control start/stop, CW/CCW signal input terminal: Active signal

input. (Default 24V)

If you need to change to 12VDC or 24VDC input, please open the controller

housing, and change the jumper connection on the external control board as

below:

GD2: External control signal common input terminal.

NC: External control start/stop signal input (Signal rising edge valid) CW/CCW:

External control direction signal input (Signal rising edge valid)

R/S2: Transfer mode: External control start signal input (Signal rising edge

valid) Dispensing mode: External control start, pause signal input(Signal rising

edge valid)

③R/S1: External control start/stop signal input terminal: Passive signal input.

This terminal can connect with a passive switch and a foot pedal. Therefore,

activate the foot pedal option in the external control setting interface. External

control wiring:

a. Dispensing mode, disconnect K1 after short connection, the motor starts

working. Disconnect again after short connection, the motor stops working.

Transfer mode, disconnect K1 after short connection, the motor starts

working.

b. Disconnect K3 after short connection, the motor stops working

c. Disconnect K2 after short connection one time, the direction of motor will

change one time.

d. Disconnect K4 after short connection, the motor starts working. Disconnect again

after short connection, the motor stops working.

④Motor working status output terminal:

Output motor working status as below:

If connected to relays, when the motor running, K1 connect; when the motor stops

running, the K1 disconnects.

RS232 Communication: Choose RS232 in the Communication setting interface, to

activate this terminal.

GND: Communication ground terminal.

TXD: Master sending, peristaltic pump receive signal terminal.

RXD: Peristaltic pump sending, master receive signal terminal.

RS485 Communication Interface: Choose RS485 in the communication setting

interface to activate this terminal.

GD1: RS485 signal interface

A+: Connect RS485 A+ terminal

B-: Connect RS485 B- terminal

Instruction:

1. Choose RS232 or RS485, the communication protocol is standard MODBUS

protocol.

2. RS232 or RS485, achieve communication under the main interface.

F Series main Functions and Features

Accurate angle control technology, high precision filling.

Color touch-screen control, user friendly interface, and dynamic display filling

state, also displays the filling parameters and system settings.

Intelligent calibration function. The device will calibrate the filling volume before

production to ensure the filling accuracy.

Online micro adjusting function, to make the micro adjustment of the filling unit

during the production progress more convenient. It can avoid filling errors

because of tubing fatigue and elasticity decreased.

The filling system can store 60 commonly used filling modes, save users setting time

and improve working efficiency.

The back suction angle setting, avoids liquid from dropping off when the pump stops

working.

External control start and stop function, can be unified controlled by the host

computer when working in filling line.

RS232/RS485 communication interface, supports Modbus protocol (RTU mode), for

remote control.

Fast filling liquid function, can not only wash the tubing, but can also fill liquid in the

tubing.

304 stainless steel housing resists corrosion, no rust, conform to GMP sanitary

requests.

Maintenance

When pump is not working, please detach the cartridges pressing the tubing to

avoid changing the shape of tubing because of long term extrusion.

Keep the rollers of pump head clean and dry, otherwise it can quicken the wearing

of the tubing, reduce the useful life of the tubing and lead to early damage on the

rollers. Pump head cannot resist super corrosive liquid. Please pay attention to it

when using it.

If liquid is on the rollers, please dry it. Moisture over a long time can damage the

rollers.

Products have 1 year warranty (This does not include tubing.). Our company is not

responsible for any damages resulting from the users’ wrong operation or other

human failures.

Beyond the warranty, we only charge the cost of maintenance. In reference to any

maintenance services, in and beyond the warranty, we do not bear any freight charges

because of maintenance.
