With more people regularly using bicycles as a convenient and environmentally-friendly form of transport, secure bicycle storage facilities are essential at key locations such as the workplace, city centre sites and busy commuter links such as railway stations.

The Bikeminder range provides an ideal solution consisting of single bicycle lockers, which are available in various configurations to suit your particular site layout.

SECURE & EASY TO USEA single door leaf and lift-up access panel provide for easy manoeuvring of bicycles into and out of the locker. The door is fitted with a flush-fitting lock assembly and individual wheel security devices can be used with the guide rail as an additional security measure.

reinforced steel panel bicycle lockers for strength, security and user confidence...

IMPACT & FIRE RESISTANTMaintenance is kept to a minimum with the use of stainless steel components, Armortec® coated steel plinth and plastic-coated steel panels, which also provide a high level of fire-resistance. Impact-resistance is achieved with reinforcement to all door, roof and outer wall panels.

DOUBLE BIKEMINDER - STORE 2 BICYCLES PER LOCKERDouble Bikeminder lockers are fitted with doors at both ends and a diagonal partition to create two secure compartments within each locker. Double Bikeminder lockers are only slightly larger than the standard models, so as a result, more bicycles can be fitted into a smaller floor area.

Bicycles are manoeuvred into the locker in reverse i.e. rear wheel first.

‘VERTICAL’ MODELSForlocationswhichhavelimitedfloorspaceavailableorwhere pedestrian access is paramount, e.g. passenger transport terminals, our range of vertical Bikeminder models provides the solution. Constructed to the same high standard as the conventional Bikeminder designs, vertical models save on floor space by allowing bicycles to be easily manoeuvred into an almost vertical resting position in the guide rail with no risk of damaging the wheels.

OPEN GRILLE DOORA stainless steel open-grille door option is available to aid visual inspection by security personnel.

WEIGHTThe approximate weight of a CyclePad is 140kg.

DELIVERYCyclePads are always delivered as individual pads for offloading by Glasdon. Subject to adequate access on site, Glasdon can usually manoeuvre each CyclePad into the final site location at the time of delivery.

INSTALLATIONCyclePads are free-standing and self-supporting structures which are suitable for positioning on any flat and even surface, e.g. tarmac, concrete slabs, blockpavingetc.WhereamultiplequantityofCyclePadsispositioned side by side in a continuous run, the hoops can be front or back facing. A concealed locking bar system is used to securely connect each CyclePad.

All of the best ideas are simple and CyclePad* falls firmly into this category. It offers a revolutionary design which reduces the time and cost of site installation to the absolute minimum.

It is particularly suited to street furniture applications because there is no need to excavate and re-lay existing ground surfaces such as blockpaving or concrete. If your site layout changes in the future then CyclePad can be simply moved with lifting aids and relocated as required.

Each CyclePad is manufactured and delivered to site as a ready-made freestanding concrete plinth complete with a single hoop in stainless steel or Armortec® coated steel. The contoured shape of the concrete plinth allows each CyclePad to be easily manoeuvred and interlinked together in a continuous line to form your desired layout. A concealed locking bar system is provided for improved security.

The standard concrete plinth is offered in a grey granite-effect finish, although other colours are available upon request for co-ordination with the surrounding architecture. Being manufactured from high-quality and maintenance-free materials, CyclePad will provide years of trouble-free service.

*CyclePad is a Registered EU Design

*Note: The front or rear leading face of a CyclePad base plinth should always be positioned at least 550mm away from any existing wall or structure.

For many years the Glasdon range of Smoking Shelters has been the popular choice for organisations wishing to control smoking in the workplace by providing a designated external smoking area.

Our Carleton 50 range offers full compliance with the latest UK smoke-free legislation. This requires that all smoking shelters are not wholly or substantially enclosed and have a minimum of 50% open wall area.

Carleton 50 Smoking Shelters feature reduced height glazing panels on all models to achieve compliance. To help provide greater protection from the weather, each roof style has a perimeter roof canopy.
