Arts & Technology
The arts are an integral part of learning at HBA. Fridays are devoted to creative and technological courses. Students learn to express themselves while learning new skills that may be useful in their future careers. Our engineering and technology courses teach problem solving using various computer programs and challenge students to design and build their own projects.

homestay.HBA international students are always active. Their homestay families include them in social activities in the community. The school also organizes after school events and trips to local points of interest. San Diego enjoys warm weather year-round and its beautiful beaches and hiking trails provide opportunities for students to explore nature and participate in sports and recreation.

TUTORING
One hour of private tutoring $75(Each session must be paid in advance to reserve an appointment)
For your convenience, you may buy a package of 4 or 8 sessions which allows you to reserve a recurring time slot with the same tutor each week
Package of 4 sessions: $280 ($20 savings)Package of 8 sessions: $560 ($40 savings)
SAT, ACT & TOEFL PREP
One hour of private SAT, ACT, or TOEFL prep $90 plus cost of books
Package of 20 sessions: $1600 (Recommended for those who have had no previous test preparation classes)
Group classes: $1200 for 30 hours of instruction, books, materials and mock exams
At HBA you have various options to meet your specific academic needs. Whether you need tutoring or test preparation or prefer to take a course at High Bluff in a group or private setting, our teachers are experts at providing instruction and engaging students.
COURSE FOR CREDIT PRICING
All of our courses for high school credit meet the California state standards, are WASC accredited and UC approved. Courses are offered during the school year and over the summer.
