FFS-Shell Partnership Highlights NEW PRODUCT TRIALS Franklin serves as Shell’s petroleum equipment design expert by developing several exciting new products specifically for Shell, including: NEXUS SERIES UDC n A new, shallow under dispenser containment sump with pre-fit components to minimise on-site exposure time. n Shell UK trial site installation. COMPOSITE ACCESS COVER n A new, larger diameter cover provides a wide access point for larger containment spaces. n Shell UK trial site installation. DEFENDER SERIES OPV n A new, field-testable from grade level overfill prevention valve (OPV) that eliminates confined space entry and maximises safety. n Shell Singapore trial site installation. DOUBLE WALL TERMINATION FITTINGS n A set of new fittings that allow for double wall pipe protection all the way to grade level. n Shell UK trial site installation. TS-550 evo FUEL MANAGEMENT n A new highly-evolved tank gauge platform with intuitive user interface and powerful automation capabilities. n Shell Oman trial site installation. n Shell Russia warehouse test installation. TOTAL COST OF OWNERSHIP IN ACTION At Franklin, we maintain constant focus on total cost of ownership as demonstrated through these 2014 achievements: n Enhanced Shell total cost of ownership tools (Fuel System Hydraulic Model Tool and Tank Positioning Tool). n Franklin Design Optimisation team provided Shell with optimised site layouts (over 55 optimised sites since 2012). n Reduced contractor high-risk exposure hours with pre-fit assemblies for tank top equipment, under dispenser containment, and electrical systems. SAFETY & ASSURANCE Our number one goal at Franklin is to ensure the safe and proper installation of our equipment. In 2014, we expanded our base of certified installers and continued our safety education. n 2014 certified contractor training highlights: n 54 training workshops n 16 countries n 1,064 Pipe & Containment certified installers and 556 Submersible Pumping Systems certified installers. n Conducted site verification inspections resulting in corrective actions and shared learnings. n Life Saving Rules training and Safety Day engagement.
