Test the spray pattern prior to application. Toapply, hold spray gun perpendicular to thesurface approximately 30 to 45 cm away. Movethe gun parallel to the surface at a steady rate.Lap each stroke approximately 50% over theprevious stroke for uniform paint thickness.Spray from left to right to scratch in the initialcoat at approximately half of the desiredthickness. Then crosshatch spray up and downas the double-up coat to the thickness. Whenpainting corners, aim the gun toward the centreof the corner to ensure both sides are sprayedevenly. When used in lieu of a skim coat ofjoint compound and paint primer coat in a Level5 gypsum board finish, apply to a minimum WetFilm Thickness (WFT) of 0.38 mm. In allapplications a wet film thickness in excess of0.51 mm is not recommended. During andafter application, avoid draughts and maintain13 ˚C (55 ˚F) minimum product, air and surfacetemperatures until surface is dry.

CleanupWipe up drips and spills immediately with dampcloth. Clean tools with warm soapy water. Closecontainer after each use.

Drying TimeDries to touch in approximately 60 - 90minutes when applied at 0.38 to 0.50 mm(15-20 mils) WFT under normal dryingconditions (24°C/50% RH). Let dry beforere-coating. High humidity and/or coldtemperature will slow drying.

CoverageApproximately 50 – 62.5 m2 per 18.9 litre pailwhen applied at 0.38 to 0.50mm (15-20 mils)WFT. Actual coverage can vary depending onfactors such as substrate surface condition, spray techniques, procedures, coatinguniformity, and thickness.

DecoratingMay be painted after overnight drying.Follow paint manufacturer’s instructions.May be left unpainted.

Surface PreparationSubstrate must be sound, dry, clean and free ofoil, grease, mildew and efflorescence. Product, air, and surface temperatures must bemaintained at a minimum of 13 °C (55 °F)throughout the finishing process.

Graco MARK V, GMax5900 HD, Ultra Max 1095 and 1595 modelsare examples of approved airless pumpingequipment.
