When I visited the member last year, her blood pressure was
extremely high. So, it was somewhat surprising to fnd it
even
higher during this year’s visit.
It turned out she had not reflled her blood pressure medication
in
seven months. She said she started caring or her sick daughter
in
the summer and she thought her doctor had let the practice
andshe’d not made any decisions on whom to switch to.
I called the practice and ound that her doctor was very much
still
there and got her an appointment or yet that day.
In speaking with her aterward, she said she had an !", lab
work
and all o her medications reflled.
