Oddments of 6th Colour (00155 Charcoal Grey) for embroidery.

Quantities of yarn are approximate as they are based on average requirements. Check actual yarn colour as printing may not match yarn exactly. Check the yarn labels and use only balls of the same batch. RequirementsPair each Milward 4.5mm (UK 7) Milward stitch holder and bodkin for sewing up.

TENSION20 sts and 25 rows to 10cm (stocking st) and 22 sts and 24 rows (fairisle patt) on 4.5mm needles or size needed to obtain correct tension.

CautionIt is important to check your tension before starting your garment and we cannot accept liability for the finished product if any yarn other than the specified yarn is used. If there are too many stitches to 10cm, your tension

is tight and you should change to a larger size needle. If there are too few, your tension is loose and you should change to a smaller size needle.

AbbreviationsK=knit; P=purl; st(s)=stitch(es); garter st=K every row; stocking st=K on RS, P on WS; tog=together; inc=increase; sL1K=slip next st knitways; psso=pass slipped st over; rep=repeat; cont=continue; cm=centimetres; in=inches; mm=millimetres; approx=approximate; RS=right side; WS=wrong side; rep=repeat; M1=make a st by picking up horizontal loop lying before next st and knitting into back of it; M1P=make a st by picking up horizontal loop lying before next st and purling into back of it; 1st C=1st Colour; 2nd C=2nd Colour; 3rd C=3rd Colour; 4th C=4th Colour; 5th C=5th Colour; 6th C=6th Colour
