No Kid Hungry in Arkansas Update Alternate Breakfast- added to over 400 AR schools After School Meals-more than 6.4 million meals

served to children in afterschool programs in 2014. Summer Feeding-more than 4.3 million meals served

to children at 1,200 summer sites statewide. Cooking Matters and Cooking Matters at the

Store-reached more than 5,650 low income Arkansas families through cooking courses and interactive grocery tours in 2014.

New Grant Dollars for 2015

$450,000 will be given to Arkansas schools to purchase equipment to start any of these Breakfast-After-the Bell programs:

Breakfast in the Classroom Grab and Go to the Classroom Grab and Go to an Alternate Location Second Chance Breakfast between 1st and 2nd

period Grant Dollars available January 15-June 30,

2015 *Date may be extended if funds are available
