Recently, I spoke to a Chris-tian group in a large city near San Antonio, basically sharing some of my life experiences (leukemia, back surgery, rejection, chronic pain, yet JOY!) and how much Jesus Christ has done for me.
Afterwards, individuals from the audience asked me to lead them in the salvation prayer.
I yearn to hear with my own ears the angels rejoicing in heaven, each time a human soul receives eternity through be-lief in God’s Son Jesus Christ! (Luke 15:10)
Elated and somewhat drained after praying one-on-one, I was approached by the leadership of the organization who had invited me to speak.
“You were asked to tell about your life and Christ. You spent most of
the time talking about just Jesus. We don’t appreciate your defin-ing that He is THE TRUTH. We don’t appreciate your ‘Jesus is my everything’ attitude.”
I was stunned, but I’m rarely speechless.
“I’m sorry to dis-appoint you and your organization. However, I didn’t drive all the way from San Antonio to speak about me. No matter how encouraging you may find my tes-
timony, I cannot help or save people. Only Jesus saves. And He is The Truth.”
The leader scowled at me,“You should suggest, not assert that Jesus IS TRUTH to a group.”
Against my will, my eyes filled with tears, “You asked me to come tell my story. You asked
SHARE JESUS TODAY because SOON it will not be tolerated, even
by some American Christian audiences.

me to be real and honest. I believe with all of my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. And that He is Who He says He is: The Way, The Truth, The Life and that no one comes to the Father except through Him.” (John 14:6)
“What about the Christians who also believe that there can be many roads to heaven,” the leader asserted.
I had long previously settled this question in my own heart. “Sir, I’m about to drive home. I will take a certain highway and certain streets until I arrive at my house. I cannot just hope that any highway will get me there and take any streets or I will become lost and not make it home. Yes, people may come to Christ from different paths, but Jesus says in John 14:6 that He’s the Only Way to The Father.”
He looked at me with disdain, “Then you’re saying that there’s ONLY ONE way to heaven.”
Looking at my feet and then up at his scowling face I said, “I didn’t say that. Our Lord did. As a Christian, I stand on His Word, not mine.”
“Then you are one of those exclusive Christians that make other people mad and give Christi-anity a bad name.”
Taking a deep breath and feeling less hurt and a bit bolder, I replied, “Sir, Truth, in and of itself, is exclusive not inclusive.” Borrowing from Ravi Zacharias’ I said, “For example you are either married or not married, correct?”
“Divorced, but that’s not the point,” he scoffed.
“No sir, it isn’t. Truth is the point. The Truth is not many answers, it is THE ANSWER. One is either married or not married. A woman is either pregnant or not pregnant. You are either for...”
As he turned to walk away, my heart broke for him. I’m still not sure if he heard me, but several lingering guests did.
Again my eyes filled with tears, “Jesus’ point was this, ‘For God so LOVED the world, that He GAVE His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
I wept on the way home, confounded that a Christian leader would reject the Word of God.
TODAY I AM NOT CONFOUNDED. REJECTION OF TRUTH IS RAMPANT. And you can talk about God until the cows come home without making anyone mad, until you say the Name of Jesus.

Today in many countries, those professing Christ are martyred, tortured, or jailed for life.
In this country, our rights as Christians are currently on the chopping block as “tolerance” is emphasized towards every religion, except if you claim to know Jesus.
Because I love God and I love people, I speak out in groups, on two radio sta-tions in South Texas and through our website podcasts that are downloaded by over forty countries around the world, many of which are hostile to Christianity.
Imperfect, challenged and although many times feeling overwhelmed, I con-tinue to share The Word because Jesus IS THE LIFE and our way to eternal life. He is our Messiah/Savior and Lord and He loves every single person on this planet.
In the Words of Our Lord concerning Himself, “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” (John 3:17)
Our ministry consists of an audio editor who prepares my messages for radio segments, an Administrative Director who updates the website with all free messages, a loyal prayer team who prays over every request, the most honest book keeper in the world, and a board who has hung in there as I’ve refused to fundraise.
Fundraising gatherings are not wrong, but I personally do not have the time, energy or grace to do anything but share The Word, Christian Life Coach and be a wife and mother.
I’ve never done this before, but this is my plea to ask YOU to financially give so that we may continue to increasingly project God’s Word, Truth and Love around Texas and the entire world. Equipment is costly. Anything worthwhile is costly. Please consider the cost. Pray about partnering with us as we have experienced an 800% in-crease in those listening to our messages around the world since last year, and thus need your financially backing to keep moving forward.
