Since it is the end of our academic year and we have about 5 lessons left, I have decided to let students to watch and discuss cartoons. This particular lesson we will watch The Gingerbread Man story, then we will practice on re-telling the story. Each student will be saying what he remembered aloud for the whole class, and other students’ task will be listening to speaking student and add something or correct him if needed. using integrated skills in your lesson plan. You will need to use alternative assessment as well, which you will

describe in F. Alternative Assessment below.

    F. Alternative Assessment: The teacher will take notes of each students performance, paying attention to students speech, vocab, and pronunciation. If there are students who need more practice or help, the teacher will make sure to work with these students separately. In addition, there is peer-evaluation taking place too. G. Reflection Phase 1: Describe how this lesson demonstrates the use of integrated skills and alternative assessment. Also discuss why this lesson is appropriate for the age/grade and proficiency level of the students you are targeting.

This lesson demonstrates listening and speaking skills, vocabulary and basic grammar integrated (when the students listen, watch, and speak). Alternative assessment is used by teacher (performance assessment) and the students (peer-evaluation). This lesson is appropriate for the age group and their proficiency lever since stories and fairytales are widely used to teach them not only in English class the students enjoy reading stories and watching cartoons. Also they have had an academic year of studying English so they can understand
