By focusing on synchronising breath and movement, we move with awareness through postures, designed to strengthen and open the body whilst focusing the mind, ready for some deep forward folds and our final resting pose in Savasana. By integrating pranayama into the practice, we work to rebalance the body's vital energy, leaving you feeling vibrant and stabilised. This class is accessible to all levels of yoga. Call Rebekah 07713140111 email [email protected] Restorative Yoga with Rebekah: In restorative yoga, we build ourselves a cosy nest with props and blankets infront of the log burner. The womb-like sanctuary of the yurt holds us in it's golden light as we work through a sequence of passive asana, supported fully by props, allowing the body to fully relax and let go. In doing this, we are able to bring the mind into a sense of tranquility and calm, slowing down the thoughts and bringing awareness onto the breath. Through this process we are able to access into deeper layers within the body, promoting healing both physically and mentally. This practice is complementary to any dynamic styles of yoga, and especially beneficial for those of us who are experiencing stressful or anxious periods in our lives.
