Shannon Lynn Artist/Actress/Host, Motivational Speaker & Sales Professional, Entrepreneur & Mother Miss Canada & The Arts Shannon’s experience as Miss Canada has not only allowed her help many others through her charity work, but has enabled her to develop an immense network and following of individuals in the business, entertainment, fashion, beauty and health industries. Her ease in the limelight, desire for creation & out of the box thinking, and natural talent in the arts as an artist, musician, and actress make her a pleasure and asset to work with. Notably, her fashion line Abelle Avanti was founded in 2009, and has been worn on various red carpets including the Grammy’s in 2009 where she wore a gown made out of burlap to make a statement about inner beauty and confidence for young women. She has toured Canada speaking to young women in schools about the importance of individuality and self-esteem. With a natural ease in front of the camera Shannon enjoys hosting and has worked with broadcasters like TSN. She is a spokesperson for numerous companies and organizations and enjoys building relationships and friendships with all that she works with. Business For the past 10 years, Shannon has researched, observed, coached and trained in excess of 5,000 individuals in sales, marketing, and business management. She speaks not just from theory but from experience. Shannon’s knowledge in the board room and training room lay the foundation for excellent quality seminars and speeches in various areas. Shannon doesn’t just provide the “feel good” motivational talk — she inspires her listeners to action. She does this all as a professional speaker and business owner, proud mother, and artist. Shannon is also a cyclist, yoga instructor, and an all round nice gal. Community As a charitable entrepreneur, humanitarian and advocate, Shannon has used her business experience and passion for helping others to aid in raising funds and awareness for many large and small organizations. Traveling to countries like Ecuador and Mexico Shannon uses her strengths to help those in need and has worked extensively with organizations such as World Vision and the Red Cross. In 2010, she established The Ride for Red Foundation, an annual celebrity charity ride and tour. Shannon cycled over 2500 miles from Calgary, Canada to Santa Monica, California over forty days to help victims stricken by disaster and aid the efforts of the Red Cross. Her passion for service and helping others has lead her to give over 3000 volunteer hours to charity and non- profit organizations locally and internationally, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars. She has been honored with awards from the American and Canadian Red Cross, along with a Woman of Distinction nomination from the YWCA.
