The reward program is easy to sign up for and to use. The reward program has no hidden rules and is very transparent to customers.

Points are accumulated per calendar month and restart at the begging of each month. It’s hard to spend $250 a month every month, this program is clearly designed for their top customers to help the retail store increase wallet share.

Privacy Policy- JC Penny’s offers a opt-in and opt-out option. They also offer customers to do partial opt outs that would control the kinds of information the store and website collects from them.

One thing I would suggest would be to open the accumulated points to a running total so every time you spend $250 you will earn a certificate. Other than that I do personally use this program and find it fun to get rewards for shopping I’m going to do anyways. The store associates get really excited when they see an awards certificates and love to see their programs helping customers.
