The winter is cold with temperatures falling below zero degree sometimes. It doesnt snow often. The summer is usually humid and hot. The annual rainfall is up to 1200mm. The most wet period is June to September. From late August to early September, typhoons and torrential rain in the city happen frequently, without causing significant damage in general. If you go to Shanghai at this period of the year, do not forget to bring an umbrella or a raincoat. Temperatures are rarely extreme. In June, the hottest month of the year, the temperature is 32 C on average; In January, the coldest month of the year, the lowest temperature is 1 C. In less than 10 years, facing the old buildings of the Bund, a new city grew out of the ground. Shanghai World Financial Center : 492m tal and with 101 floors. This tower is different from the others by its distinctive architecture which looks like a kind of immense bottle-opener.
