Step by Step:1. Cut a few masks from some white card of wave shapes that will t

across the inside of a 11'' x 8.5'' Hot pocket. Lay them inside an open

pocket.

2. Add some alcohol ink in sea

colors, pressing down on the

masks to stop too much ink

leaking underneath the waves,

ll the whole pocket and leave

aside open to dry. While you

have the inks out ll another hot

pocket with lots of sea colorscreating a pattern of ink again

leave this aside open to dry.

3. Turn on the laminator and while it is heating up start building the base for the layout. Using the

freestyle mouse and the deckle edge blade #2804 cut a sand bank from the yellow swiss dot bazzill card.

It's so much fun to cut decorative freestyle edges with this fabulous little mouse!

4. Spray the piece of blue bazzill 12 x12 cardstock with some blue smooch mist to create interest then

adhere the 'sand bank' to it using the helmar 450 glue and then using the wave blade #2803 in the

rotary side of the 2 in 1 combo trimmer, trim all the way around the 12 x 12 creating a wave edge to your

layout, you only need to trim a mere fraction away from the sides and this is easily done on the rotary

trimmer as the cardstock is held rmly in place and you can get the thinnest precision cut with the

trimmer.

5. Remove the wave masks from the hot pocket and sprinkle both the pockets you have lled with ink

with some silver/blue glitter then laminate them both. Remember to turn o the laminator when you're

done!

6. From the piece of lamination that

doesn't have waves cut some

seaweed and sh shapes. The lamina-

tion in the Hot pockets is so strong

that the pieces will hold together

even when they are cut out, you can

always put the lamination through a

die cutter if you don't want to cut the

shapes freehand!

7. Make a little pile of sequins, micro beads and some of the seaweed and sh shapes (keeping some back

for outside decoration) in the centre of your 12 x 12. Apply a thin line of Helmar 450 glue around the edge of

the wave patterned lamination and adhere it in place covering the little pile of loose goodies. The glue dries

very quickly so you won't have to wait long to have a little shake of your creation :)

8. Trim 3 small photos 2''x2'' on the

guillotine side of the 2 in 1 combotrimmer and add a length of hessian,

lace and bobble ribbon to build up

your layout.

9. Use some of the laminated seaweed and sh to add extra dimension to the page, adhering them with

helmar scrap dots and nally add some journalling with a blue journal pen to the top right corner.

10. And that's it a fun, interactive sea themed memory page made unique to you with the Purple Cows

Hot Laminator. Put it on display and watch peoples delight as they see the inside of the sea move! Enjoy!
