Influence
In English classes everywhere kids are studying Shakespeare. Kids everywhere are still studying Shakespeare due to his influence on the English language.
His influence on the English language changed our vocabulary, and the way we speak.
Anachronized theaters centuries ahead of its time.
However, Shakespeare was very innovative, adapting the traditional style to his own purposes and creating a freer flow of words.
Importance
With the creation of thousands of words and phrases, came with a modern language that is still used today.
Related plays to society, so people could relate and enjoy.
Shakespeares ability to summarize the different human emotions in simple, yet profoundly fluent verse is almost the best reason for his growing popularity.
The plot and theme involves murder, political treachery and justice. These are all things that people in prisons would relate to and be interested in, Craven said.
The language is so dense, so rich, the first couple plays they read are difficult. Not because the language is old, but because its hard to read, so you have to read it over and over again. Which increases your vocabulary widely.
