Erasmus grant termsTo be eligible for a grant the following
conditions must be met:
- You must have studied for a least one year at university level
prior to the exchange.
- You must not have been in receipt of an Erasmus grant for
studies before
- You must not have simultaneously applied for and been awarded
a grant from another EU programme
- The length of studies at the host university must be between
three and 12 months in the same academic year
- You must not have paid a tuition fee to the host
university
- You must have applied to and been accepted onto an exchange
programme at your home university
- You must have a confirmed plan for your studies during the
exchange through the Learning Agreement (LA).
- You must submit the Learning Agreement and Certificate of
Arrival to your faculty at the latest one month after the start of
your course
- LiU must have guaranteed that your studies will be recognised
as part of your Swedish degree, provided the studies have been
completed according to the LA.
- After having completed your exchange, and by Septermber 1 2011
at the latest, you must have submitted a student report in STARS
(STudy Abroad Report System,
www.stars.liu.se)
Erasmus grant agreements are to be submitted to the exchange
koordinator at your faculty, signed and with correct bank details,
before the course start or by March 15
2011 at the very latest.
Changes in the agreement must be notified to Lena Beyron
([email protected]).
The total amount of the grant is based on the number of study
months according to information submitted by the host university in
the Certificate of Arrival and/
or Certificate of Departure.
The first grant payment will be made in conjunction with the
start date given in this agreement.
A second payment will take place between July 1 and September 1
2011 provided all agreement terms have been adhered to and the
STARS report has been completed.
The amount of the grant is based on the number of study months
according to information submitted in the Learning Agreement.
You will be awarded the grant provided LiU receives funding from
the Erasmus-programme.
Rules for breach of terms:If you do not comply with the terms of
the agreement part of or the entire Erasmus grant must be
repaid.
If the terms of the contract can not be met you must immediately
