  DVD AMNESTY Calling All Dance & Fitness Lovers! Share your favourite routine or get rid of unused DVDs  towards a better future! Whether it’s bajan stick licking, ballet, tap, tai-chi, yogalates and jitterbug stroll to folk, boogaloo and hip hop, artist Kai-Oi Jay Yung invites you to contribute towards a forthcoming dance project at the Bluecoat- by sending in your movement DVDs. This will support the artist’s new series of experimental workshops and performance inviting the public to connect the physical and psychological through movement of the body. From 26 th  July to 15 th  September, the artist will transform the gallery into an exploratory space for movement and dance involving the public in a series of workshops, towards a public performance. These DVDs will inform part of the artist’s research and process. For this amnesty: welcome any hands on and theoretical choreography, exercise, dance and movement related DVDs, workouts, films and documentaries, however obscure or strictly dance- from Bausch, Davina, Pobereznic Fonda and Astair to Cunningham!
