To make JSitemap integrates better with sh404Sef, it could be required to change a settings in sh404Sef

configuration.

This is especially important if you are using Joomla 3 version.

Changing this setting you ensure that JSitemap can work with a Joomla installation that follow the

standards, and not custom solutions as offered by sh404Sef. So you will be able to make correctly a menu

item pointing to html sitemap using menu alias, and avoid format error given by sh404Sef during XML

generation.

To change the setting in sh404Sef follow this screenshot.

Locate the button for sh404Sef configuration and select tab General, subtab By component.

Scroll down to find component named Jmap, and from the first dropdown, change the value from (use

default handler) to Use Joomla router, to ensure that native Joomla routing system will be active for

JSitemap.

Save and exit configuration.

If you receive errors about sitemaps not found or not reachable (though this is not a problem for Google)
