Diomede Storage is a green, ener gy-efficient cloud storage service for backup and archival data.

We¶ve developed ener gy-efficient backend storage technologies to power our service thatenables us to be more than 5-times less expensive than our nearest competitor,

consume 60 times less power, and still maintain greater than 60% gross mar gins on eachsale. We have 11 patents pending around this technology.

Diomede has also defined unique processes that allow us to physically ship data and devices to our customers¶ sites ± we are the only company capable of accommodating very, very lar ge data producers. Our lar gest customer is a Fortune 250 company withmore than 2 petabytes of data stored (and growing).

We currently have not raised any outside financing, and we are looking to partner withsoftware application developers who want to integrate Diomede capabilities into their applications, and of course we¶re always looking for new customers to provide the bestcloud storage backup solution.

Tips for managing an offshore team

Take ownership. They are your team members and your responsibility.

Share your ³grand vision´, but assign and measure extremely short tasks.

Treat them as an extension of your current team, and  just like any other

person at your company. Insist that all other employees do the same.

Daily engineering calls. 3 to 5 minutes per developer.

Be available (Skype/IM) as much as possible.

Follow up with written confirmation.

Practice test driven development.
