Thirty - Third Sunday in Ordinary Time
Apocalypse! The first reading and Gospel can be a bit alarming at first glance. So much talk of the end of times can be upsetting and a little depressing. But, the Church in her wisdom have put all the liturgy together for today’s Mass to prepare us for Christ the King Sunday-next Sunday. The Mass in and of itself prepares us for the end of times, judgement day and all that scary stuff. We all stand here in this sacred space anxiously awaiting a glimpse of Heaven in the Eucharist. We know He is coming, we know He is here so why are we alarmed? Because we know we might not have our affairs in order. Order? Who orders your days and nights? Your children, your spouse, your boss or God? If God leads you to this space, if God leads your life, then He will also lead you home. We know that He has made the ultimate Sacrifice for all our poor choices. He patiently waits to welcome us to our true home, simply for our good choices, right thinking and because this is why He created us to be with Him in A Perfect World.

Trigésimo Tercer Domingo del Tiempo Ordinario
¡Apocalipsis! La primera lectura y el Evangelio pueden ser un poco alarmantes a primera vista. Tanto hablar del fin de los tiempos puede ser molesto y un poco deprimente. Pero, en su sabiduría, la Iglesia ha reunido toda la liturgia pa-ra la misa de hoy para prepararnos para Cristo Rey el domingo, el próximo domingo. La misa en sí nos prepa-ra para el fin de los tiempos, el día del juicio y todas esas cosas aterradoras. Todos estamos aquí en este es-pacio sagrado esperando ansiosamente un vistazo del Cielo en la Eucaristía. Sabemos que Él viene, sabemos que Él está aquí, entonces, ¿por qué estamos alarma-dos? Porque sabemos que podríamos no tener nuestros asuntos en orden. ¿Orden? ¿Quién ordena tus días y no-ches? ¿Tus hijos, tu cónyuge, tu jefe o Dios? Si Dios te guía a este espacio, si Dios guía tu vida, entonces tam-bién te llevará a casa. Sabemos que Él ha hecho el sa-crificio final por todas nuestras malas decisiones. Él espera pacientemente para darnos la bienvenida a nues-tro verdadero hogar, simplemente por nuestras buenas decisiones, el pensamiento correcto y porque es por eso que nos creó para estar con Él en un Mundo Perfecto.
