The neurologist Paul Maclean purported that instead of therebeing one brain inside our skull, there are three: the reptilian,mammalian (or limbic), and neo cortex.

The neo cortex is what's often considered the part of our brainthat makes us human. It's the part responsible for abstractthought and rational judgments about the world. Many folksthink of the neo cortex as a homunculus - a little man - wholives inside our skull and steers our perceptions anddetermines our actions. In other words, they believeconscious rationality determines the lion's share of ourperceptions and actions.

Let's say, for example, that a woman ends up meeting a guyand sleeping with him a few days later. After the fact, shemight introspect: The reason I slept with this guy is that I justgot out of a painful relationship and was hoping theexperience would ease the pain. Plus, he has all the qualities Ilook for in a man - he's tall, dark, handsome, rich andeducated.

While her explanation may be true, it only represents apinhole of the big picture. She isn't aware of the unconsciousprocesses at work that compelled her to feel attraction for himand drove her to act on that attraction. She doesn't knowabout the neuronal drives that she has no control over.

The limbic brain is couched inside the skull of everymammal on planet earth. It is the power station for ouremotions. Without it we wouldn't experience a bond or feela connection with people. It's responsible for complexemotions like: jealousy, envy, love... and so on.

Why are women drawn to men who use Push-Pull - i.e.,men who emotionally push them away and then pull themback in? Why are women captivated by a man whooscillates between giving and taking away attention orvalidation? There's no logical explanation for it. Know why?Because these drives don't reside in a woman's neo cortex.Instead they live in her limbic system.

The reptilian brain is the oldest and most primitive brain in ourskull. It's responsible for arousal, orgasm, and primitiveinstincts such as: fight or flight, marking territory, anddominance over others. The most ominous part about thereptilian brain is that it is autonomic (or involuntary). In fact,

Perceptual Filters

Let's start with the one on the left. Notice how by changingyour perception you can see two different three-dimensionalboxes: One pops out at you; the other looks as if you couldstick your tongue inside.

Once you see both boxes, take a minute to study theillustration on the right. Can you see the vase? Can you seethe silhouette of two faces? Good.

Each illustration contains two completely different pictures.Yet, as you move from one picture to the next, nothingchanges about the illustration. What changes is a gestaltshift in your perception.

Similarly, the different brains contained inside a woman skullcan create a gestalt for the arousal in her body. Your job isto control the gestalt (or gestalts) she uses to interpret thisarousal. Some gestalts are useful for getting your outcomewith a woman; others are not.

Put another way, the different brains we discussed filter thearousal generated in a woman's body. Similar to how a waterdam either blocks or allows water to flow through, brain filterseither close up and block arousal or open up and allow it toflow through the body. When they're opened up, theyemotionally and rationally justify the arousal in her body.

Two specific filters need to be open for a woman to processand act on the arousal you've generated in her body.

One is Prizability. If you've got enough value in a woman'seyes that if you walked away or didn't validate her, she'dtake it as a loss, then you've opened up the Prizability filter.

Let's look at an example. Imagine being at swanky nightclub.You're donning the garbs of a garbage man. You dart up to agold digger and engage her in some effective banter.Regardless of your drab clothing, she's feeling sexualtension. You've triggered arousal inside her body(Remember: arousal is an involuntary response to specificstimuli).

But because she thinks you're a garbage man, her Prizabilityfilter is closed and stops the arousal dead in its tracks.

But, hypothetically, if she discovered you were a Harvardgraduate and worth an estimated 10 million dollars from acompany you started a year ago, she'd see you in a

completely different light. The Prizability filter would open up,allowing the arousal to flow through her body.

The second is the Comfort filter. This is different from thecomfort a woman feels for her parents, her pets, or her guyfriends who sit around staring at her breasts as she whineson about her latest "boy problems."

Instead, opening up the Comfort filter is about making herfeel comfortable getting sexual with you. Sparking aconnection or a rapport with a woman are just a few of themany ways you can open up the Comfort filter.

When sexual arousal is present and the Prizability andComfort filters are open, the arousal gets exponentiallymagnified and the woman feels compelled to act on thearousal. That, my friend, is attraction.ÿ �� Write down the five different forms of Prizability:

Comfort Filter

A big secret to making women feel comfortable is being

comfortable with yourself. Come up with five things you canchange about your body language that would make youcome across as more comfortable to women:

Anytime you force or muscle a woman into feeling, thinkingor acting a certain way, it closes the comfort filter. Butanytime you plant seeds that arouse, induce, or incite her toact, think, or feel a certain way, the comfort filter opens up.

Think of two situations with women you ruined because youtried to force them into something. Then think of what youcould have done, instead, to incite them into acting, thinking,or feeling that way.

Reality SuckingReality sucking is essentially sucking a woman into themoment so she isn't apathetic or dissociated.

Because people are mirrors for the states others are in, oneof the quickest ways to suck a woman into the moment is tobe in the moment yourself.

One of the best ways to quickly put yourself in the moment isto think of a time when you were completely in the moment -e.g., maybe you were with your best friend and you were soabsorbed having fun that you lost track of time. Becauseyour limbic system can't tell the difference between what isimaginary or remembered and what's actually happening,you'll find yourself feeling in the moment.

Think of five memories from your past when you were in themoment.
