Where is Seward? Seward is approximately 125 miles (about 2.5 hours) south of Anchorage on the Seward Highway and is easily accessible by highway and rail; it is also a frequent stop for major cruise lines. If you’re traveling by road, there are many sights to see as you travel along this National Scenic Byway from Anchorage to Seward. As you leave the largest city in the state, you’ll pass Potter Marsh, a protected waterfowl habitat. Follow Alaska’s scenic byway and scan the jagged cliffs for Dall sheep, or watch for the powerful bore tide, pushing the water into Turnagain Arm. You may even see beluga whales feeding in the waters. The scenery is breathtaking and amazing, whether you ride the road or the rail! Seward Windsong Lodge RoomsAll rooms feature a fl at-screen television, wireless Internet access, full private bath, DVD player with free DVD movies at the front desk, hair dryer, refrigerator, coffee maker and telephone.

Standard Guest Room

Spaced nicely throughout the Seward Windsong Lodge property, these rooms have exterior entrances and two queen beds. Decorated with Alaska-style log furniture, the rooms are charming and spacious.

Standard With Private Deck

These rooms are the same style as our standard guest room but feature a private sitting area on an outdoor deck/balcony. All standard rooms with private decks have exterior entrances and two queen beds.

Suite Rooms

In addition to all the standard room amenities, suites are furnished with a microwave, two fl at-screen televisions/DVD players and a spacious private bath with Jacuzzi.

Suites offer an open layout with two queen beds and an extra-long twin trundle bed with two twin beds, separated by a half-wall. All suites have exterior entrances.
