Sew-ology Gazette May 2017
is finally here! The BERNINA Q24 is truly unlike any other longarm machines with unique features. The Q24 features a full 24" of quilt-
ing space from the needle to the back of the machine. The unique threading path, thread stand, handwheel, and
machine controls are all located at the front of the machine-right where you need them. Master hand-guided quilt-
ing quickly with the assistance of the integrated BERNINA Stitch Regulator. The BERNINA Longarm Stitch Regulator
keeps the stitch length consistent even at variable stitching speeds. The unique and fully articulating handles can be
moved to just the right position for all of your quilting needs. Whether stitching edge-to-edge, custom motifs or ruler
work the handles can be adjusted for visibility and comfort. Program each of the buttons on each handle to keep
frequently used functions at your fingertips.
With 2,200 stitches per minute for hand-guided quilting, you will complete more quilts more quickly than ever.

2017 Block of the Month
Monthly Meeting: Saturday, May 6
9:30am-10:30am Can’t make the meeting, kit will be available
beginning May 1st
We know there are quilters who
will always “quick-cut” the 90° family of shapes with a 6″ x 24″ ruler. But not many
want to cut 60° projects with that same ruler! Or avoid any block that can’t be cut
with a basic ruler. The From Marti and Me Hexie Club will give you the confidence
to try an alternative and something new.
The hexagon club is planned to start with a very easy equilateral triangles project,
no set-in seams, etc., and each month add progressively more skills.
