SETUP FOR A COMTREND VR-3030 AND ALSO SETUP FOR COMTREND CT-5374
1. Log into modem at 10.0.0.2
2. Click “Basic Setup” on top bar then “WAN Setup” in left bar.
3. Click the “Edit” button on first column.
4. Enter the customers Username and Password in the correct fields.
5. Click the “Next” button at the bottom of the page (may need to scroll to see it).
6. Click the “Apply/Save” button on the next page
7. Repeat steps 4-6 on the second column.
8. Enter the customers Username and Password in the correct fields.
9. Click the “Apply/Save” button on the next page.
10. Click the “Apply/Save” button on the next page.
11. Click Advanced Setup
12. Click on DNS. Make sure that all the PPPx.x interfaces are moved to the left column. Click Apply/Save After this.
13. Click on DNS Proxy/Relay and check the Enable DNS Relay button. Click Apply/Save After this.
At this point you should have a green light on “Internet” on the modem and should be able to surf the net to test.
For Combo Units with Wireless Click on the Wireless option from the menu on the left hand side.
Where it says SSID – Input the SSID that the customer chose. Hit Apply and save at the bottom.
Then click on the Advanced item from the menu on the left. Select the SSID you set up in the previous step. Select the network authentication WPA2-PSK. Under the WPA/WAPI passphrase box - input the passphrase chosen by the customer. Click Apply and save at the bottom.
