SETHI-RAMSES NG

is an airborne system dedicated to remote sensing. It is composed of two pods placed under the wings ofa Falcon 20 operated by AVDEF. It combines high-performance SAR sensors as well as optronic sensors toexplore such concepts as:

• Long-distance radar imaging (> 70 km)

• Multi-frequency capacities (P-UHF, L, X bands)

• Wide area pushbroom or target designation mode

• Ultra-high resolution (centimeter) radar images

• Ground or foliage penetration imaging

• Moving target detection (GMTI, STAP)

• Polarimetry, tomography, circular imaging, interferometry, change detection…

SETHI-RAMSES NG

• Defence: intelligence, awareness, operation support

• Security: area surveillance

• Environment: climate, biomass, pollution...

Application fields

• Image/signature databases

• Knowledge of the environment

• Support for specification of future operational systems

• Industrial prototype testing

• Answers to ad hoc operational requests • Support to export cooperation policy

Products and outputs

• X-band, L-band and UHF radar sensors with polarimetric, interferometric and MTI capabilities

• Visible light and hyperspectral cameras

• Target designation system for sensor steering

Facilities

• A multifunction airborne platform offering radar / optronic synergy

• A flexible, modular and scalable "plug and play" platform, covering wide range of applications

• A world-class scientific team

• A customer-oriented approach with an offer tailored to each need
