SERVOX® digital

Digital Electronic with USB Interface

In addition to the basic manual settings the digital electronic can be connected

to a PC with a USB cable. The prosody, frequency and volume can be set and

stored with the SERVOX® digital Software.

Optical Battery Control

A flashing red light on the SERVOX® digital indicates that the battery is low and

requires charging.

An elaborate energy management system prevents deep discharge and extends

the battery life.

Processor-Controlled Battery Charger

The intelligent charging technique ensures simple, safe and rapid recharging

of the SERVOX battery. The battery can be left in the SERVOX® digital during

charging. A replacement battery can be charged at the same time.

Exchangeable Carrying Cord

The carrying cord can be exchanged or removed by the patient. If the carrying

cord has been removed, the opening can be closed using a cord protector.

Functional Hip Bag

The dark blue hip bag is especially designed for the SERVOX® digital.

A separate compartment makes it easy to carry a replacement battery safely.

Two Different Sound Caps

Upon delivery of the SERVOX® digital Speech Aid, two Sound Caps are provided

– one with a harder sound characteristic and one with a softer sound charac-

teristic.

Oral Connector with Adapter

In certain situations, for example after surgery or radiation treatment, it is not

possible to position the speech device at the throat. The Oral Connector with

Adapter that is attached to the sound cap of the SERVOX® digital can be used

for these situations.

The SERVOX Elasto Tube is a high quality medical

polyurethane tracheostomy tube.

This thermosensitive material adapts itself to the

anatomical shape of the trachea at body tempera-

ture and thus guarantees an optimum level of wear

comfort without any loss of stability.

The cannula’s conical shape and special surface

makes it very easy to insert into the tracheostoma

and protects the surrounding tissue. It also reduces

the amount of secretions inside the tracheostomy

tube.

The basic SERVOX Elaso Tube range comprises the

two complete SERVOX Elasto Tube standard and

SERVOX Elasto Tube voice sets, which are available

in 6 different sizes each.

The SERVOX Elasto Tube voice is equipped with a

speaking valve with a noiseless flap valve and gua-

rantees effective speech production.

All of the SERVOX Elasto Tube’s individual compon-

ents are also available separately, which means that

it can be ideally adapted to the individual needs of

tracheotomized patients.

All inner cannulas have a 15 mm-standard connector

and can therefore be combined with a number of

different products. The SERVOX Elasto Tube is sup-

plied inside a practical and sturdy storage box with a

two-parts tracheostomy tube holder.

The SERVOX HME Module has an extra-large foam filter that effectively humidifies, heats and filters inhaled air. Therefore, pulmonary function is maintained. Coughing and mucus production is significantly reduced. At the same time it filters out dust and larger airborne particles.

Due to the low profile design and the side openings the SERVOX HME Mo-dule can be covered with clothing and is discretely hidden. Therefore, the SERVOX HME Module is a quality device for everyday use.

The SERVOX HME Module enables speaking by gently pressing the simple lid-valve mechanism. As a result of the stoma occlusion the air exhaled from the lungs is directed through the voice prostheses and is directed into the esophagus to vibrate tissues. As the unique pressure point guides the patient to the correct finger position for complete stoma occlusion, the speech quality is improved. After removing the finger the lid-valve mecha-nism moves to its starting position and enables breathing through the stoma.

The closing plate underneath the filter protects the foam from mucus and enables continuous and reliable functioning without reduction of speech quality.

The SERVOX HME Module can be attached to all baseplates and tracheos-tomy tubes (e.g. the SERVOX Baseplate or the SERVOX Soft Tube 22) with a 22 mm connector. The patient can easily attach and remove it.
