DESCRIPTION

Being for censorship of any kind is never about freedom it’s personal, it’s a personal bias, it’s unrelated to justice as Censorship is all about being offended and your being offended should never be applied as a offense and then be considered right or fair.

SERVING UP TRUTH

Anti-cultural appropriation deconstructions are a form of soft censorship. We ought to be against both soft and hard censorship even if the censorship is rooted in a valid sociological argument. Censorship is one of the tentacles or roots of patriarchy and is used to maintain the cultural and economic problems that we either face in oppositional resistance, experience unjustly or enjoy somewhat comfortably. Being for censorship of any kind is never about freedom its personal, its a personal bias, its unrelated to justice as Censorship is all about being offended and your being offended should never be applied as a offense and then be considered right or fair. #1Tumblr tokomon:*goes to Africa on a church mission* look at all these helpless african americans *digs hole for some reason* *hugs children but only in the presence of a camera* *flies back home in first class* i love me, im heavenbound and loving my cornrolls.

Some people seem to be far more interested in serving up their truth than in serving up freedom. Your truth is not freedom. Freedom is non-exposure to your truth unless your truth includes allowing my offensive truth to co-exist with your truth. Serving up truth is just another acceptable bias; its the bias of an echo chamber for like thinkers and believers who often consider themselves special from their corner of like beliefs and canned talking-points. #2A serving up truth alternative: Such missions are both historically and currently ineffective. Thankfully there are efforts now that actually give the cash from the budgeted costs of such ineffective missions directly to the enterprising citizens of Africa. Unsurprisingly with this method, shortly after the missionaries leave Africa businesses are created, money is exchanged and shared, social and cultural growth occurs, all while the quality of life is enhanced in ways that church missions and other charity efforts either dont provide or dont provide enough of. We must organize to end all ineffective charitable campaigns and only embrace the ones that the recipients embrace as an outcome that best serves the growth of Africas independence by being deliberately designed to cut the cords of even a hint of co-dependency, colonialism or State corruption.

With our beliefs and life guiding convictions at the forefront, there is nothing special about censorship. Theres no plea of innocence here. There is, though, an argument for an end to all accepted and seemingly reasonable forms of censorship of things that are highly offensive to some but which do no bodily harm to any.Simply put, we are evolving towards an alternative to everything that exists because the current economic and cultural realities are unfavorable to any long term and honest existence; censorship is a bullet in a gun, while virtually any application of it is equivalent to the pulling of the trigger.
