Business Spotlight The Nudgee electorate has over 4,200 small to medium size enterprises. Given our proximity to major arterial roads, the city and the airport, it’s not surprising we have such a busy economic precinct.

I try to take every opportunity to support and showcase local businesses. Recently I had the opportunity to introduce local business owners Ben Tibben of Mozmo Creative, Steve of Street Science, Stacey of She Wear Australia, Graeme of The Driven Business Edge and Walter of Kuhn Corp Press to meet Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and Minister for Small Business Leeanne Enoch at a small business reception at Parliament House.

I have invited State Treasurer Curtis Pitt to the electorate in July for a Budget Business Breakfast and Minister Leanne Enoch for a Small Business coaching event in August.

Please contact my office if you are interested in being invited to these events in the future or if you would like to have a chat about how I might best support you.

Geebung, Chermside, Kedron, Wavell Heights and NundahResidents in these suburbs may have noticed the Nudgee Electoral map boundaries on this page have slightly changed.

The State Electoral Commission recently determined new boundaries for the Nudgee Electorate. This has resulted in some of Geebung moving to the Aspley Electorate and some of Kedron and Chermside moving to the Stafford Electorate.

Larger parts of Wavell Heights and Nundah have moved from the Clayfield Electorate into Nudgee.

It’s sad for me to be losing those residents who are moving to other electorates. I will miss you and wish you all the best with your new State Members.

While I have already been representing parts of Nundah and Wavell Heights, I’m looking forward to meeting and listening to my new constituents.

Please be assured I’ll be holding information stalls and attending community events in your area as often as possible. Please say hello if you see me at one of my information stalls at the Nundah Markets on a Sunday morning.* Map of new Nudgee Electorate boundaries as

determined by the State Electoral Commission in 2017.

$315.00 annual saving for Nundah to City commuters under the new Fairer Fares package.

Out and about in the Nudgee Electorate

Deputy Premier visits Nundah

StationDeputy Premier and Minister for Transport, Jackie Trad, recently joined me at Nundah Railway Station to talk with local commuters.

We discussed the State Government’s fairer fares package which has saved commuters across the Nudgee Electorate over $640,000 over the past 4 months.

The Deputy Premier’s visit also provided the opportunity to hear firsthand from local commuters about the effect of recent timetable changes.

I will always advocate strongly on behalf of our local community and visits like this are a way of making sure our voices are heard.
