Services Aquatico consists of various specialist and supporting divisions that can provide the following services in an integrated and cost-effective manner.

Field monitoringA team of trained field technicians performs sampling procedures in a variety of field conditions and geo-graphical locations. They are supported by our fleet of all-terrain vehicles that conforms to client safety require-ments.

We ensure continuity and credibility through the use of electronic hand-held devices that provide task lists to field technicians and records the date and time as well as the location of sampling actions performed. This information is synchronised via satellite with the Aqua-tico SQL Server database. Each sampling project has a

primary and secondary field technician assigned to the project for continuity.

Our ultimate objective is to provide clients with a person-alised service that will satisfy all their unique environmental monitoring requirements with results that are internatio-nally accountable.

Data management and scientific reportingAquatico implements a secure MS SQL Server Data-base to ensure the safety and integrity of our clients’ environmental data. Each client’s data is maintained and verified against history to ensure a credible and continuous data timeline that enables us to re-analyse samples should it be required. Data can be im-ported or exported in any required format to allow integration with our client’s own database systems.

A team of skilled scientists, supported by Aquatico’s scien-tific reporting software, can produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports where environmental data is measured against the client’s unique environmental management system. Reporting can be customised to suit very specific requirements across all management levels.

Emphasis is placed on turning environmental data into management information that can assess risk as mea-sured against legislative criteria.

Services typically include:

Air quality monitoringField monitoring services to assess the operational impact on the environment in terms of air quality is done by means of trained technicians that follow specific sampling protocols and that use state of the art equipment. The sample chain of cus-tody is important and all field conditions are recorded as part of the sample collection process.

Dust fall-out monitoringSampling locations are selected according to client needs and/or the areas highlighted by the respective environmental stud-ies. The set-up of the system is in line with the ASTM methodol-ogy in terms of equipment specification and sample exposure times. Collected samples in buckets are transported under controlled conditions to our laboratory where the analysis and reporting is done under our SANAS ISO 17025 accreditation. Our service include reporting of the soluble and insoluble por-tion of the dust.
