R. Renee McLaurine is the sole owner and service provider of Spiritual Family Counseling, LLC. Renee is a Licensed Clinical Master’s Level Social Worker who pursued her education at Michigan State University. She has performed contractual mental health services for the community since 2013. During that time Renee has successfully served populations with personality disorders. She specializes in Gottman focused Couples Therapy, Individual Enhancement, Anxiety and Depression management, and Trauma Recovery. Renee practices from a Strength-Based Client Centered perspective, while fully respecting client Self-Determination. Renee utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each couple, individual and family. Renee has a heart for people, and desires to see each person happily and successfully meet their maximum potential. Renee TRULY understands that there is more to each of us than meets the eye!

HISTORYSpiritual Family Counseling, LLC (SFC) is a private mental health counseling service which focuses on healing the whole person, body, mind, spirit and soul. SFC was founded in 2017 by R. Renee McLaurine, and has been providing mental health therapy to Metro-Detroit since that time. SFC has provided service to populations of all ethic backgrounds and economic statuses. SFC has seen success in healing trauma, providing useable coping skills for mood and personality disorders, as well as assisting individuals, families and couples resolve difficult issues and concerns. SFC continues to learn and grow in order to provide greater service and care to those in need.

We provide clinical expertise with a practical approach. Clients receive skills that are easily understood, and convenient for implementation into their daily routine. Here at SFC, we take pride in offering a warm, respectful and accepting environment that is safe and confidential for consumers to heal and grow. We understand that consumer overall success becomes consistent when each part of the consumer is nurtured, body, mind, spirit and soul.
