PEDESTAL KIT

INTRODUCTION

To ensure safe and secure installation, pleasethoroughly follow the instructions below.

• Incorrect installation can cause seriousaccidents.

• The appliances are heavy. Two or morepeople are required when installing thepedestal. There is a risk of serious back injuryor other injuries.

• Do not allow children to play in or on thedrawer. There is a risk of suffocation or injury.

• Do not step on the handle. There is a risk ofserious injury.

• If appliances are already installed,disconnect them from all power, water, orgas lines and from draining or ventingconnections. Failure to do so can result inelectrical shock, fire, explosion, or death.

• Wear gloves during installation.

Tighten all 4locknuts securely

Make sure the leveling feet of the applianceare fully retracted.

Once the leveling feet of the washer are fullyretracted, tighten all locknuts securely.

NOTE: The appliance and pedestal assemblymust be placed on a solid, sturdy, level floor forproper operation.

Position the appliance on top of the pedestal.

The washer feet will fi t into the outermostcorner positions and the dryer feet will fi t intothe innermost positions as shown.

3 4Make sure the back feet are in the correctpositions.

The washer feet will fi t into the outermostcorner positions and the dryer feet will fi t intothe innermost positions as shown.

Make sure the holes on the pedestal align withthe holes in the appliance, then install 4 screwsat each corner to securely attach the applianceto the pedestal.

NOTE: If the screws are not installed properly,noise and vibration may result.

Move the appliance to the desired location.

To set the dryer to the same height as thewasher, fully retract the leveling feet of thedryer by turning them clockwise, then turnthem counterclockwise 1-1/2 turns.

NOTE: The appliance and pedestal assemblymust be placed on a solid, sturdy, level floorfor proper operation.

Insert the T-clip of the 4 retainers into thedryer base as shown. Press up on the back ofthe clip and pull outward to lock into place.

3 4Place the dryer on the pedestal. Make surethe front and back feet are in the correctpositions. The dryer feet will fi t into theinnermost positions as shown.

Make sure the holes on the pedestal alignwith the holes in the retainers, then install 2screws at each corner to securely attach theappliance to the pedestal.

NOTE: If the screws are not installedproperly, noise and vibration may result.

Move the appliance to the desired location.

Locknut

Loosen the locknuts on all 4 leveling feet ofthe pedestal until you can turn them with thewrench. Turn clockwise to raise orcounterclockwise to lower until the pedestal islevel and all 4 feet are solidly against thefloor.

When installing the pedestal on a wooden floor, place the fl oor pads included with yourappliance under the legs of the pedestal. Thiswill help reduce vibration when the applianceis operating.

Using the Floor Pads

Securely tighten all locknuts by hand.

NOTE: Noise and vibration may result iflocknuts are not tightened.Be sure to connect the appliances to all water,power, or gas lines and draining or ventingconnections before operation.If there is excessive vibration during the firstoperation after installation, slightly adjust theleveling feet.

3 To make sure the appliance is well set on thepedestal.Please adjust all four adjustable feet and locknuts of the appliance accordingly.

DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1 2Protect the floor with a large piece ofcardboard.Lay the appliance on the cardboard.Be sure the cardboard is under the entirelower back of the appliance.

Open the drawer, and then remove the four (4)screws (two on each side) on both side ofdrawer.

3 4Pull up the drawer to disassemble. Remove four (4) screws on the drawer.

5 6Remove two (2) screws on the either side ofthe drawer.

Remove Eleven(11) screws on the coverassembly. (Upper Cover 3EA, Bottom 4EA,Back 4EA)

7 8Loosen the leg using the wrench.(supplied)

9 Remove four (4) screws (two on each side) onboth side of slide.

Remove twelve (12) screws on the bottom ofthe pedestal.
