Login to the cluster node 1/2
Press Windows button on your keyboard
Type ISCSI
Select ISCSI initiator
Connect ISCSI storage to the servers.1.
By default this service not started, therefore click on "yes" button for start the service

Open "Server manager"
Click on "Tools"
Select "iSCSI Initiator"
Type the IP Address as a "Target" and click on "Quick Connect"
Now we can see the 1 GB quorum disk on the disk management console

Format and mount quorum disk to the one host as a drive "Q"
Now we can see this disk in a both cluster nodes

Adding failover cluster feature to the both cluster nodes2.
Open "Server Manager"
Click on "Manage"
Click on "Add Roles and Features"

Click on "Next"
Select "Role-based or feature-based installation" and click on "Next"
Select the server name and click on "Next"

Select "Failover Clustering" and Click on "Add Features", Click on "Next"
Click on "Install"
Now both of the servers are ready for creating a cluster
Open "Server Manager"
Click on "Tools"
Select "Failover Cluster Manager"

On the "Failover cluster manager" mmc select "Create Cluster
Click on "Next"

Browse and adding both cluster nodes(servers) to the wizard
Click on "Next"
Now we can validate the cluster, Select "yes" and click on "Next"

Select "Run all tests" and click on "Next", This will check our configuration such as
network,storage and system configuration

Click on "View" and verify the report.
Click on "Finish"
Assign a cluster name.(testcls01)
Assign a cluster IP Address.(172.20.10.81)

Select "Add all eligible storage to the cluster " and click on "Next"
Cluster has created successfully.

Open "Failover Cluster Manager"
Select "Nodes" and verify that all the nodes are available and status is "UP"
Verify and manage the cluster Configuration3.
Select "Disks" under "Storage" and verify that Quorum disk's availability

Verify the network configuration4.
Open "Failover Cluster Manager"
Select "Networks"
There are three cluster networks will be available, as per the automatic configuration of
this networks cluster and client communication will be disabled on the network which
is using for ISCSI network. Also the network which is configured without gateway will be
assigned to the cluster only(Internal cluster communication and cluster shared
volume's traffic).Finally the network with gateway address will be configured as
"Cluster and Client".
This procedure is same as quorum disk adding process
Add seconds shared drive to the cluster4.

Once the disk is formatted and drive letter assigned we can add this to fail over cluster
Open "Failover Cluster Manager
Go to the "Storage", Select "Disks"
Click on "Add Disk"
Select the disk and click on "OK"
We have completely done our Server 2012 R2 cluster configuration. Now we can start provisioning
services with high availability for our users and network. With server 2012 R2 all the configured
services, applications will be shown under the "Roles" in failover cluster manager console. At the
movement there are no any roles configured.
Configure roles in Windows 2012 R2 Failover Cluster5.
Open "Failover Cluster Manager"
Right click on the "Roles
Select "Configure Roles"

Click on "Next"
Select "File Server" and click on next(We can select multiple server roles for provide the high
availability)
Select "File Server for general use" and click on "Next"

Assign a name and IP address for the file share cluster and click on "Next"
Select the available shared disk for store shared folders on this cluster
Click on "Next"

6. Add file share to the file server cluster
Open "Failover Cluster Manager"
Select "Roles"
Right click on the File server cluster name(fscluster)
Select "Add File Share"

Select "SMB Share-Quick"
Select "F" Drive and click on "Next"
*If we want we can select different path which is in the shard drive also

Assign a share name and description

Click on "Create"
Now we can access the shared folder using cluster name or cluster ip address
7. Change the owner of the file share cluster
Open "Failover Cluster Manager"
Select file share cluster name

Select "Move"
Select "Select Node"
Select the second node
Click on "OK"
