Mission Trip Coordinator Needed: Our Missions Ministry is looking for someone to promote

and coordinate planning for our church's mission trips. Mission trips are a great way to provide as-

sistance to our missionaries and help our church family develop closer relationships with them. If

you have good organizational skills and an interest in missions, we would love to tell you more

Camp of the Hills, Church-Wide Service Project Saturday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pack your picnic lunch and bring your family to a day of fellowship and service, as we work together at Camp of the Hills, 1552 CR 344, Marble Falls, TX. Camp of the Hills is a ministry dedicated to revealing and glorifying Jesus Christ by providing life-changing experiences for inner-city kids and for families seeking to strengthen and enrich their marriages. Ways we will help to get the camp ready: removing and putting away linens from cottages, changing out furniture in bedrooms (i.e. full size beds to bunk beds, hanging curtains, hanging signage, activity area set-ups, cleaning, light painting, shelf in-stallment).

equip, WOMEN DISCIPLING WOMEN is an opportunity to join a small group designed for relationship building, fellowship,

sharing, and encouragement. The 5 to 6 week study will focus on the Foundations of Christianity helping women

to grow in grace and personal knowledge of God. After completing the course women will be equipped with a tool

to use in discipleship.

All materials provided at no cost. Small groups offered on various days and times.

A PERSONAL TESTIMONY

For years I attended church and faithfully attended many women’s Bible Studies. I sat and “soaked” for a long time.

This was no doubt an important part of my spiritual journey. However, there came a time when I felt restless, some-

thing in me was stirring, desiring more than to just sit and listen. Soon an invitation to join a small discipleship group

came along. It was a scary step for me, but the decision to join forever changed my way of thinking about my role in

God’s kingdom. The small group format fostered safe discussion and sharing and opened my eyes to the value in es-

tablishing meaningful relationships with women. Most importantly, an up close look at the foundations of our faith

helped me discover that God can use even me to do the very important work of discipleship. Jesus has called us “to

equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ” Eph. 4:12. I could not justify sitting any longer.

After completing the five week study I felt better equipped to share my faith and had a tool to help launch my journey
