    Who is a servant-leader?

    www.greenleaf.org

A servant-leader is any leader who is

    focused on identifying and meeting

the needs of others, rather than

trying to acquire power, wealth, and fame for

oneself. Servant-leaders love people, and enjoy

    helping them.

Adapted from The Servant as Leader:

The servant-leader is servant first It

begins with the natural feeling that one wants

to serve, to serve first. Then conscious choice

brings one to aspire to lead. That person is sharply different from

    one who is leader first
