Serralunga: outdoor patio furniture since 1825

Serralunga was founded in Biella in 1825.Serralunga is the name of the family that has been

the creative and entrepreneurial heart of the company for six generations, manufacturing modern outdoor fur-niture. The company was started as a tannery and then moved into leather processing for industrial purposes. The real revolution arrived with the processing of plastic and then with the rotational moulding technique import-ed from the U.S.A., which gave origin to countless Italian design objects, such as outdoor lighting and contemporary furniture, all made in Italy.

The company has been based in the same place for al-most two centuries. Its production is totally concentrated in Biella, Italy, in the street named after the Serralunga family, in a 12,000 m² plant, employing 65 members of staff and around the same amount in satellite activities. The plant processes over 1,200 tons of plastic and produces around 200,000 items a year.

The Strategy for the growth of the brand has been re-inforced by a commitment on development an exclusive personal service for an international clientele; Serralunga Outdoor Full Service, has been launched in response to cli-ent’s demand for a complete projects conceived according to the style and philosophy of Serralunga; then comes Ser-ralunga’s friends: a team of experienced GARDEN DESIGN-ERS with international expertise and five stars portfolio, premium company producer of Solar Covers and umbrel-las, Vertical Garden designer, that all under Serralunga’s project coordination are fully dedicated to the design de-velopment of OUTDOOR space for private residences and real estate projects. The Serralunga‘s outdoor full service team provides clients with a comprehensive design service to handle different projects, from terrace and garden dec-oration to complete garden / green space planning.

This consultancy service takes responsability across the full span of projects beginning with site analysis, research, and meetings with client throughout a construction phase until the final positioning of furniture, outdoor lightning, plants, flowers, and accessories; the outdoor full service works throughout the world in different projects in terms of nature and complexity: apartments, hospitality, airports, villas and residential complex. The target of world class quality for the project is presented from the first sketches to the final realization, with the aim to tell every time a different story designed specifically for each customer and always unique and tailor made for an Affordable Luxury.
